Redeemer Longmont

About this church

Redeemer Longmont gathers Sundays at 10:00 a.m. at Longs Peak Middle School, 1500 14th Avenue. The congregation meets in a school rather than a permanent sanctuary, an important arrival detail for a first visit. Its services combine historic and modern Christian worship through songs, prayer, Scripture readings, preaching, and the Lord's Supper. Visitors are offered coffee, a warm welcome, and freedom either to participate or simply observe while exploring the Christian faith.

Redeemer describes itself as a newer, hope-filled community seeking the flourishing of Longmont. Its language about “broken things made beautiful” connects faith with repaired relationships, justice faced honestly, and neglected parts of the city receiving care. The church acknowledges that its people do not have everything together and frames discipleship as gradually learning the way of Jesus. Staff ministry includes work connecting under-resourced young people with adult mentors and helping the next generation experience God's love. For someone comparing Longmont churches, Redeemer's defining features are a single school-based service, a weekly retelling of the gospel that includes Communion, permission to investigate without pressure, and a city-focused vision that joins personal healing with neighborhood flourishing.
