About this church
Above and Beyond Community Church is a non-denominational Christian congregation at 7500 East Country Club Boulevard in Boca Raton. Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. in person and online. The church teaches the Bible, baptism by immersion, and Communion open to believers, while presenting its identity around Christian community and new life in Christ. Its history is distinctive: Above & Beyond began with about 50 people in a living room in 1992, and SonCoast Christian Ministries began separately in 1994 before the two congregations united on Easter Sunday 2018.
That merger joined Above & Beyond's ministry experience with SonCoast's facility and formed the present church family. The original Above & Beyond work used athletics, music, and drama to reach young people and their families, moving through offices, schools, storefront space, and a community center over many years. Current official pages highlight baptisms, missions, service days, and a church calendar rather than a dense fixed weekly program list. A first-time guest can watch recent sermons through the church's video channel and use the contact page for questions. Families should verify childcare for special services, since event notices distinguish between gatherings where it is and is not provided.
