Gathering Church

About this church

Gathering Church in Fort Walton Beach offers three Sunday services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. The 9:30 gathering is streamed live through the church website and YouTube, and an official welcome video gives prospective visitors a preview of Sunday morning. Students meet Wednesdays at 6:10 p.m., with doors opening ten minutes earlier, while small groups gather at different times during the week. The congregation frames these settings as places to encounter Christ, form community, discover individual gifts, and put those gifts to use.

Mission is unusually visible in the church’s public profile. Each Thanksgiving, Gathering reports providing more than 400 meals to local families while offering prayer and invitations to worship. Other partnerships support pastor training in biblical interpretation and church history, an orphanage, schools, prison outreach, campus evangelism, and ministry among Muslim communities. The church belongs to the GCC network, sharing resources and support intended to strengthen pastors and congregations. Three service choices, one consistent livestream, weekly student ministry, and detailed local and global partnerships make Gathering practical for visitors who want both scheduling flexibility and an outward-facing church community.
