Sawgrass Community Church

About this church

Sawgrass Community Church meets Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. at 5901 Taylor Street in Hollywood, with online participation available through Zoom and recorded messages on YouTube. Nursery and Children's Church are offered during the 2 p.m. service. A separate Sunday devotional meets on Zoom at 5. The afternoon schedule distinguishes Sawgrass from many morning-only congregations and may suit families or workers looking for a later worship option. Guests are invited to come as they are and expect a welcome that crosses background, culture, and language.

The church's mission is to love in ways that matter by reaching people who feel lost, bringing hope to those dismissed as hopeless, and supporting healing for people who are hurting. Its vision of unity is summarized as worship one, love everyone, and serve as one, with attention placed on shared faith rather than distractions that divide. Ministry opportunities include greeting, children, prayer, missions, and practical care for neighbors such as shopping for seniors or supporting local workers and businesses during difficult periods. Because some online pages retain guidance from earlier remote-only seasons, the visitor page and current homepage are the clearest sources for the active in-person Sunday time and children's availability.
