First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo

About this church

First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo in Lantana holds Sunday services in three languages. The homepage lists the English service at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, a Thai-language service at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall and a Spanish-language service at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Join Us page gives slightly different Thai and Spanish times, so visitors should check with the church before attending. The Baptist church belongs to the Palm Beach Baptist Network and the Florida Baptist Convention. It started in 1954 as a mission of First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, and it says its mission is to love God and love others in many languages.

Several groups meet on Sundays and during the week. A women's Bible study meets Sundays at 9:30 a.m., a young adults group meets Sundays at 10 a.m. in the balcony, and a Bible study meets Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in the prayer room. Hypoluxo Kids meets during the Sunday service, and families check children in at the lobby. The church also runs Hypoluxo Baptist Preschool, a weekday program for children ages 2 to 5 that has served local families since 1979. Services are livestreamed, and the church keeps a YouTube channel. First-time guests can use the Plan Your Visit form online or call 561-585-3992.
