Holy Spirit Catholic Church

About this church

Holy Spirit Catholic Church celebrates English vigil Mass Saturday at 4 p.m. and English Sunday Masses at 7:30, 9, 10:30, and noon. Polish Mass is Saturday at 7; Sunday also includes a 2 p.m. Traditional Latin Mass and 4:30 Vietnamese Mass. Weekday English Mass is at 7:30 and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday plus 9 Saturday. Reconciliation is Saturday at 2:30. Thursday Adoration runs 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Benediction afterward, and Mass can be watched through the parish’s Facebook livestream.

Established in 1964, Holy Spirit reports more than 1,800 registered families and over twenty active ministries. Formation serves children and adults: ages three through six attend Good Shepherd’s Atrium during the 10:30 Sunday Mass; ages six through thirteen use parish religious education for First Communion, Penance, and Confirmation; teen and adult initiation groups meet Monday evenings. The detailed children’s program requires FBI fingerprinting, Florida background checks, and recurring diocesan VIRTUS training for adult volunteers. The parish’s permanent church was dedicated in 1986 after years of fundraising, and its history records additional parking built across West Ocean Avenue. The site does not clarify ordinary Mass duration, expected dress, exact accessible entrances, hearing support, or Eucharistic guidance for non-Catholics; holiday schedules differ and should be checked separately.
