About this church

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church is at 1649 Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park. Weekend Masses are Saturday at 5 p.m. (vigil) and Sunday at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with the 12:30 Mass in Spanish. Weekday Masses are held in the chapel: Monday, Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m., and Tuesday through Thursday at 7 and 9 a.m. Confession is offered Saturdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. or by appointment. The church was designed with the liturgy in mind. A baptismal font large enough for full immersion sits near the entrance, and skylights are placed over the font and the altar. An electric door at the right-hand entrance provides accessible entry. Confirm times on the website before visiting.

The parish offers perpetual adoration and organizes neighborhood Small Christian Communities. The youth group meets Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. in the youth room of the formation building, and youth ministry extends from elementary school through college, including the long-running Urban Plunge service trip to St. Augustine. Children's faith formation and adult programs for becoming Catholic are offered. Volunteers can join the music ministry, which rehearses weekly, or serve as readers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion or sacristans, with training provided. New parishioners can register through a form on the website, and the parish office is open weekdays except over the lunch hour.
