The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Panama City Beach

About this church

Panama City Beach, Florida's meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located at 505 S Arnold Rd, about 13 miles from the nearest other meetinghouse in Panama City. The building includes a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking area, restroom and seating.

The Panama City Beach Ward meets Sundays at 10 a.m. The hour is built around hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, and a second hour of classes follows, including Primary for the children. Attendance is free and no collection plate is ever passed. Visitors can expect a mix of formal and casual dress, and either is fine. Congregations like this one typically meet in a building with a chapel, classrooms and a cultural hall for other gatherings. Because local schedules are set independently and can shift, a quick call ahead of a first visit is a sensible idea.
