Cornerstone Baptist Church

About this church

Cornerstone Baptist Church is at 213 Carolyn Avenue on the east end of Panama City Beach. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by traditional worship at 10:45 with hymns, biblical preaching, and Children’s Church for children through age ten. A Sunday evening Bible study starts at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, a 5:00 fellowship meal—currently free for first-time guests and children—is followed by prayer at 6:00. Recent services are available through Facebook and YouTube.

This Southern Baptist congregation describes its purpose as glorifying Jesus through worship, work, daily Christian conduct, witness, and God’s Word. Sunday School uses Bible-centered material for all ages, making the early hour more than a childcare program. Mission work includes local and international partners, Women on Mission, Operation Christmas Child, school supplies, food and personal-care collections, and Baptist state and international offerings. Women on Mission ordinarily meets on the second Saturday with breakfast, while senior luncheons and studies provide other relational settings. Travelers and new residents receive the same invitation, useful in a beach community with seasonal visitors. The schedule offers a traditional Sunday morning, a teaching-focused evening, and a meal-and-prayer route into midweek life.
