Holy Spirit Episcopal Church

About this church

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit meets at 601 Philippe Parkway in Safety Harbor. Holy Eucharist is celebrated Sunday at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The earlier service uses the traditional-language Rite I from the Book of Common Prayer and does not include music. The 10:00 service generally uses contemporary-language Rite II with music ranging from baroque to contemporary; it is also livestreamed, with weekly bulletins available online. Children's Sunday School is held during the later service.

Wednesday adds two opportunities in the Parish Hall: adult Bible study at 4:30 p.m. and a healing service at 6:00. The congregation invites people into worship, Christian education, outreach, music, prayer, women's fellowship, and other shared ministries. Its local story reaches back to a Florida Gothic church built in 1914; the original structure was later moved to the diocesan conference center, and the present sanctuary was built in 1979 with significant congregational labor. For visitors, the two Sunday hours offer a clear liturgical choice—quiet traditional language early or music-supported contemporary language later—while livestreaming, downloadable bulletins, and the midweek study-and-healing sequence make it possible to explore parish life in several ways.
