About this church

St. Joseph Catholic Church offers an extensive weekend schedule at 1200 Southeast 10th Street in Stuart. Saturday includes an 8:30 a.m. Mass, a 4 p.m. Vigil, and a 7:30 p.m. Spanish Mass. The Sunday choices are 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 5:30 p.m. Selected Masses are livestreamed through the parish’s official channel. Weekday Mass is celebrated at 7 and 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Confession is available Saturday from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and 3 to 3:30 p.m., plus 3 p.m. on the Thursday before each first Friday.

The parish describes a diverse, welcoming Catholic community nourished through Scripture, sacraments, and Eucharist. Its Stuart history begins in 1916, when land was donated and local Catholic men built the city’s first Catholic church; the contemporary parish grew from those early foundations. Newcomers, returning Catholics, and people exploring the Church can register, attend an annual newcomer gathering, or speak with parish staff. Adult formation includes Bible study, topical classes, retreats, prayer services, and opportunities to connect Catholic teaching with work, family, and service. Parish ministries provide additional routes into liturgy, community care, and stewardship. Because several weekend Masses differ by language and livestream availability, visitors should match the desired service to the current homepage rather than assume every hour has the same format.
