About this church
Cornerstone Church Athens holds energetic Sunday worship experiences at 9 and 11 a.m., with online streaming and hosts available around each service. The multicultural congregation includes varied ages, singles, couples, families, people with special needs, and visitors from different church backgrounds. Its mission is to love God and people, grow in relationship with both, and help individuals discover their purpose in God's kingdom. Pentecostal beliefs include water baptism by immersion and baptism in the Holy Spirit, while current messages can be watched later through the church website.
Cornerstone Kids creates safe, playful environments that help children love God and others, grow in faith and friendship, and discover purpose. Nursery and preschool care begins at six months, with additional elementary programming. First-time check-in records guardian and child names, birth dates, contact information, allergies, and special needs. Volunteers pass background checks; secure tags control pickup, a safety team monitors the area, and parents can be reached by text during worship. Student, men's, women's, small-group, outreach, and Celebrate Recovery ministries provide further connections. The visitor pages do not state service length, parking, accessibility details, Communion frequency, or the upper age boundary for children's ministry, so those points merit advance confirmation.
