Cherokee Presbyterian Church

About this church

Cherokee Presbyterian Church is a Canton congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America with morning and evening worship, Sunday School, children’s and youth formation, prayer, and mission service. The church supports missionaries abroad and local partners such as The Hope Center and Papa’s Pantry. Recent ministry reports describe growth in worship, covenant life, theological education, small groups, and service, connecting Reformed teaching with practical care for the community.

Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m., and evening worship at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday starts with a church meal from 5:45 to 6:45, followed by adult prayer meeting and teaching for children and youth from 7:00 to 7:45. Covenant Kids and youth use that same teaching hour. The youth page also lists a School of Theology on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. Nursery and Sunday School support families during the wider weekly rhythm. Visitors should check current posts during severe weather; a January 2026 cancellation page preserved multiple livestream suggestions with other churches’ times, which are not Cherokee’s schedule. The homepage’s 10:30 and 5:30 listing is the correct standing reference for this congregation.
