Mt. Yonah Baptist Church

About this church

Mt. Yonah Baptist Church offers Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:45, with a local radio broadcast at 9. Adults and children meet for separate Wednesday Bible study at 7 p.m. The congregation favors families worshiping together: children are welcomed in the service, the pastor includes a children's message, and care is available for small children when needed. Sunday School uses biblically based, practical material. The church describes itself as biblically conservative, regards Scripture as inerrant and infallible, and uses the Southern Baptist Faith and Message as its doctrinal guide.

School-year Wednesday programming gives children Scripture-rich activities intended to help them know, love, and serve Christ. Senior-adult ministry includes Bible study, fellowship, concerts, trips, projects, and service opportunities, while Women on Mission meets on changing dates. Community work often involves partnerships, and the campus hosts outside groups and events. A guest form lets newcomers indicate interest in children, students, college and young adults, seniors, or music. The listed teams include child protection, security, care and benevolence, outreach, properties, and Vacation Bible School, showing defined operational roles. Public pages do not explain service length, music, Communion frequency, dress, parking, step-free or hearing access, childcare check-in, screening standards, or online video streaming.
