Clairmont Presbyterian Church

About this church

Clairmont Presbyterian Church in Decatur worships Sundays at 10:30 a.m., both in person and online. Services blend choral and traditional music with band-led contemporary selections, responsive readings, Scripture-centered sermons, and Communion twice monthly. The congregation describes its purpose as helping people belong to God and one another, grow as disciples of Jesus, and serve the surrounding community.

Children may remain in worship and use the PRAYground at the front of the sanctuary, where activities and interaction are designed for them during the 10:30 service. Children, youth, and parent ministries provide additional faith formation in a safe and nurturing setting. A first-time household should arrive before 10:30, ask a greeter about the PRAYground and current children’s options, and choose a seat that fits the family’s needs. Watching the online service can help newcomers understand the mixed musical style. Because Communion, youth events, and seasonal programs do not all occur weekly, the current worship and calendar pages should be reviewed before visiting.
