Ascend Worship Center

About this church

Ascend Worship Center is an emerging Douglasville congregation led by Pastors Chris and Carlette Edwards and focused on authentic worship, biblical teaching, strong families, service, and community. Its ministry pages describe planned environments for children, students, and adults, while the sermon archive offers Bible studies and teaching on prayer, spiritual gifts, and Christian life. The church is still developing its public weekly rhythm.

The current homepage explicitly says Sunday worship services will be added in the future. For now, the recurring public gathering is Thursday: pre-service prayer runs from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a one-hour Bible study from 7:00 to 8:00. Visitors should not infer a Sunday time from the name “Worship Center” or from an older launch-service page. Children’s and student ministries are described by purpose, but no dependable recurring hours are published in the selected pages, so families should contact the church before expecting those programs on Thursday. This is best understood as a growing church community presently building through prayer and weekly Bible study rather than a congregation with an established Sunday service schedule.
