Faith Community Church of Douglasville

About this church

Faith Community Church of Douglasville describes itself as a traditional church with a cutting-edge heart, combining a relaxed welcome with song, prayer, testimony, Holy Spirit-centered worship, and enthusiastic biblical preaching. Sunday School, nursery care, children, midweek study, choir, praise team, youth, outreach, men, women, seniors, and young adults create opportunities beyond the main gathering.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship at 10:45. Music normally opens with a hymn and moves into a praise-and-worship set led by the praise team and choir; some Sundays add a choir feature, solo, or ensemble. Sermons may be expository or topical and use practical illustrations to communicate the gospel. Dress ranges from shorts, T-shirts, and flip-flops to dresses, slacks, and ties. Nursery care for newborns through age three begins at 10:45 in the downstairs education wing and continues through worship; staff hold CPR and First Aid certification. Children from pre-K through fifth grade also have Sunday School, Children’s Church, and midweek Bible classes, though the public page does not publish each hour. Wednesday bring-your-own dinner and devotion begins at 6:00, adult Bible study at 7:00, and choir and praise-team rehearsal at 8:00. Parking, accessibility, child check-in, secure pickup, livestreaming, service duration, and Communion frequency are not specified.
