Oakey Grove Baptist Church

About this church

Oakey Grove Baptist Church is an Evans congregation whose vision is “Building People; Mind, Body, and Spirit.” Its four-part mission—reach, teach, mend, and send—connects evangelism and Bible instruction with pastoral care, fellowship, local service, and wider mission. The church’s education pages emphasize practical biblical learning that shapes understanding, character, and action, while its choir treats music as congregational ministry rather than performance.

Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by worship at 10:15 in person and by livestream. Wednesday Bible study begins at 6:45 p.m. The youth ministry provides age-appropriate biblical teaching for children, teenagers, and young adults, with published classes for nursery ages zero through two, ages three through five, six through eight, nine through twelve, and thirteen and older. Because the youth events and activities pages do not currently expose a separate recurring meeting hour, families should use the official calendar or contact the youth ministry before arriving outside Sunday School. Visitors can watch through the church’s YouTube link or review the current bulletin from the homepage. The mission page remains the clearest guide to how Oakey Grove connects worship, teaching, care, and service.
