First Baptist Church

About this church

First Baptist Church in Hinesville begins Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30. The service combines contemporary music with traditional hymns and a Bible-centered message, helping visitors understand that its style is blended rather than exclusively modern or traditional. The church frames its purpose as glorifying the Lord through worship, discipleship, and mission.

Children may remain with their families in worship or join HIS KIDS for age-appropriate lessons. Other connection points include Awana, youth, men’s and women’s ministries, the Faith Bible Institute, Good News Club, and missions and outreach. A first-time family should arrive before 9:15 if attending Sunday School or leave extra time before 10:30 to find the children’s room. Parents who prefer to worship together can do so without missing the main service. The current events page should be checked for Awana and school-year programs, since those ministries may not follow the same year-round schedule as Sunday worship.
