Mountain Park United Methodist Church

About this church

Mountain Park United Methodist Church is a Stone Mountain congregation that offers traditional and contemporary worship on the same campus. The traditional service meets in the Sanctuary, while the contemporary gathering uses the Family Life Center, giving visitors a choice of musical and liturgical setting without choosing a different time. The congregation’s wider life includes music ensembles, family ministries, missions, connection groups, and Stephen Ministry care. Its mission pages highlight hands-on service as part of Christian discipleship rather than treating Sunday worship as the church’s only activity.

Both regular Sunday services begin at 11:00 a.m. Kids Worship is available during that hour, and some Sundays use a unified or combined format instead of two separate rooms, so the current worship page is worth checking before arrival. Youth normally gather Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. during the school year, excluding summer and holiday interruptions. Visitors looking for a particular traditional or contemporary experience should confirm whether the chosen date is a normal two-service Sunday, while families should review the family-ministry calendar for current children’s and youth programming.
