New Hope Baptist Church

About this church

New Hope Baptist Church is a Thomson congregation combining Life Group Bible study, blended worship, children, middle- and high-school students, midweek study, outdoor mentoring for boys, and adoption-related support through Ellie-Mae’s Mission. The church describes its worship as a blend of new songs and fresh arrangements of classics, with space for personal expression while keeping attention on Christ.

Sunday Life Groups begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30. Children remain with their families through the first three worship songs before leaders take them to classrooms; greeters can escort first-time families to the appropriate area. Youth meet Sunday from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday Bible study for adults and children starts at 6:15, with praise-team practice at 7:15. Kids Outdoor Zone uses outdoor adventure to mentor boys ages eight through eighteen, but its dates are announced monthly rather than on a fixed weekly schedule. Parents should therefore use the church’s current social feed for the next KOZ event while relying on the service page for recurring Sunday and Wednesday hours.
