Grace Evangelical Church

About this church

Grace Evangelical Church in Elgin worships Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and broadcasts the service through Facebook. Adult ministry and children's Sunday School begin at 9:00, followed by a kindergarten-through-fifth-grade children's worship service from 10:30 to 11:30. The congregation states that it exists to embrace its community through worship and biblical teaching, tying its Sunday schedule to care, prayer, and gospel witness.

Awana for children and youth meets Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The church supports missionaries working in youth outreach, discipleship, leadership development, media, and cross-cultural ministry, giving the congregation a reach beyond Elgin. Communion is ordinarily observed monthly, typically on the second Sunday. The beliefs page explains an evangelical theology centered on Scripture, Christ's saving work, and his promised return. Visitors are invited to stop at the Welcome Desk or speak with the First Impressions team, which gives first-time guests a clear point of contact. Families can begin with 9:00 education or arrive for the main 10:00 service, then confirm seasonal children's dates online.
