Lincolnway Christian Church

About this church

Lincolnway Christian Church meets at 690 East Illinois Highway in New Lenox, with in-person and online services Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Each service lasts about an hour and includes modern worship, a practical Bible message, Communion, and announcements. KidCity is available at both services, and families are encouraged to arrive fifteen minutes early for secure check-in. Children from birth through third grade and age-specific groups for grades four through eight have dedicated environments.

The congregation began more than forty years ago with a small group imagining a Christian church for New Lenox. Its present mission focuses on making disciples by loving children, strengthening families, and serving the Lincolnway community. Middle- and high-school students meet Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. during the September-to-May program year, while high-school students are also encouraged to worship or volunteer with their families. The church’s podcast revisits questions raised by Sunday sermons, offering another way for prospective visitors to sample its teaching and conversational style.
