Christ The King Reformed Baptist Church

About this church

Christ the King Reformed Baptist Church is currently directing Sunday worshipers to nearby Cornerstone Church at 2 Shermer Road in Glenview, beginning June 28, 2026. The latest homepage notice recommends the 10:30 a.m. service, with a 9:00 option; other pages still display the congregation’s former 11:00 a.m. Niles schedule, so visitors should confirm before traveling. The church describes its Lord’s Day worship as Christ-centered and biblically faithful, with expository preaching and no formal dress code beyond a request that clothing and conduct honor Christ.

This is a confessional Reformed Baptist congregation shaped by the 1689 Second London and 1833 New Hampshire Baptist confessions, while treating Scripture—not the confessions—as its final authority. Its usual ministry rhythm includes a 9:30 discipleship and children’s hour except on the last Sunday of each month, when the Lord’s Supper and a fellowship potluck follow worship; current availability during the temporary Glenview arrangement should be verified. Wednesday prayer alternates between online meetings and a monthly in-person gathering at 7:30 p.m. Organized as First Baptist Church of Niles in 1967 and renamed in 2022, the congregation also supports missionary work in several countries.
