St. Peter Lutheran Church & School

About this church

St. Peter Lutheran Church & School provides four weekend worship choices. Saturday at 5 p.m. pairs traditional Lutheran worship with contemporary music; Sunday services at 7:45 and 9 a.m. are traditional, while 11 a.m. is contemporary. Seasonal services are added for Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter. Guests may dress however they are comfortable, and the narthex is designed as a place for conversation and connection. During Sunday services, the nursery welcomes children age four and younger and gives parents pagers before they return to worship.

Music participation ranges from traditional vocal choirs to praise teams for the Saturday and late-Sunday services. The Worship Arts ministry also welcomes volunteers in technology and photography, creating roles beyond singing or playing an instrument. Church life is closely connected to St. Peter's school: elected ministry boards include a School Ministry Team supporting academic standards and a Parent Teacher League organizing education, activities, and fundraising. Communion has returned to distribution at the altar, while pastoral arrangements can be made for people unable to attend in person. Families should ask about nursery check-in, school-age Sunday programming, Communion eligibility, accessibility, and whether any service is livestreamed, since those points are not fully explained in the visitor guide.
