Columbia City Church of the Brethren

About this church

Columbia City Church of the Brethren is a congregation rooted in the Brethren tradition of following Jesus through Scripture, community, peace, service, and practical discipleship. Sunday worship, Christian education, children, teenagers, young adults, women’s ministry, Bible study, music, and online access connect congregational life with the denomination’s historic emphasis on living faith together.

Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:00, with Facebook access offered for people joining online. Children’s classes include nursery, preschool, and elementary groupings, and the ministries page also identifies youth and young-adult formation. During the September-to-April program season, Wednesday fellowship begins at 6:45 p.m. and includes God Squad for children, a youth program for grades six through twelve, Sisters in Faith, and adult Bible study. The site also contains worship recordings and bulletins from earlier years; their lengths and dates are archival evidence, not a dependable forecast for a current service. Public pages do not specify worship duration, music style, dress, parking, accessibility, nursery coverage during the 10:00 service, children’s check-in, secure pickup, volunteer screening, Communion or Love Feast frequency, or whether Facebook carries every service. Seasonal Wednesday programs should be reconfirmed near school breaks and holidays.
