About this church

Grace Lutheran Church is a Columbus congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod whose common life centers on the Divine Service and Christ’s gifts of Word and Sacrament. Music, member care, Japanese ministry, children’s programs, Christian education, and community outreach extend that worship into the week. Founded through local LCMS mission work in the 1950s, Grace now carries more than six decades of ministry in Columbus.

Worship with Holy Communion is offered Sunday at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. Children’s Sunday School meets between services at about 9:20 in the East Wing, and a nursery near the main entrance is available when needed. Children are also welcome to remain in worship. Dress ranges widely, with business casual described as a comfortable middle ground. Main parking is north of the church along Simms Drive, with overflow south of the building. The Alpha course periodically meets Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a meal, teaching, and discussion, but visitors should check current session dates before attending. Sunday guests can choose either Communion service and ask any member for directions to the East Wing.
