Elkhart Life

About this church

Elkhart Life begins Sundays with age-specific classes at 10:00 a.m. and English worship at 11:00 at 1135 Middlebury Street. Spanish Sunday School starts at 2:00 p.m. and Spanish worship at 3:00. The Apostolic Pentecostal congregation describes worship as lively and sometimes boisterous, with wholehearted praise, prayer, and teaching rooted in Jesus and the apostles. Parking wraps around three sides of the building.

Sunday classes place children ages four through eleven in age-appropriate rooms with interactive Bible teaching. ELK Kids and the youth class meet Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.; the children’s gathering combines worship, play, and learning, while the youth session is scheduled for one hour. Children are also welcome in congregational worship, reflecting the church’s emphasis on families learning to pray and believe together. English-speaking visitors can pair the 10:00 class hour with 11:00 worship, while Spanish-speaking households have a distinct afternoon sequence rather than translated participation in the morning. Guests should expect expressive Pentecostal worship and can wear everyday clothing. Check the events calendar for the current Wednesday pattern and any combined bilingual or seasonal services.
