St Mary's Catholic Church

About this church

St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg celebrates weekend Mass on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 8 and 10 a.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered Saturday from 3:30 to 4 p.m., on first Fridays from 6:30 to 7 a.m., and by appointment. The parish maintains a perpetual adoration chapel that has operated for more than 17 years, and parishioners can commit to a regular hour or serve as substitutes. Weekly bulletins are posted on the website, and the parish uses the myParish app for updates; check the site to confirm current times.

Youth ministry serves students in grades 7 through 12 with youth nights, retreats, service, special Masses, and trips to the National Catholic Youth Conference. St. Mary's School is part of the parish and has its own website, and children prepare for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in second grade, with Confirmation preparation in 11th grade. Parents expecting or welcoming a child are asked to attend a baptism preparation class, and couples should meet with the priest in person at least six months before a wedding. Adults interested in the Catholic faith can inquire about OCIA. Other ministries include choirs, prayer groups, bereavement support, a parish nursery, CYO sports, a hot meals program, and Vacation Bible School.
