South Side Baptist Church

About this church

South Side Baptist Church in South Bend gathers its full church family for one Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. The same service is livestreamed online. The congregation partners with Southern Baptists for missions and wider ministry while operating as an independent local church, with worship and teaching shaped by Scripture and a commitment to sharing the gospel.

Children’s environments teach biblical lessons and present the good news of Jesus each week, while student and adult ministries provide further places to grow and serve. The church is at the corner of Miami Street and Jackson Road, south of the U.S. 20 Bypass and diagonally across from Jackson Intermediate School. A first-time household should arrive before 10:30 for children’s check-in and use those landmarks when approaching the campus. Watching the livestream can help visitors preview worship, though the church emphasizes the value of gathering in person. Families should confirm the current children’s arrangements and any combined holiday service on the official site.
