Veritas Church

About this church

Veritas Church’s Cedar Rapids campus holds three identical Sunday services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. at 509 Third Street Southeast. Each lasts about an hour in a casual, comfortable setting. Veritas Kids serves children from birth through sixth grade during all three gatherings, giving families the same options as adult worship. The church’s visitor resources also explain parking, clothing, and arrival details before a first trip.

Veritas emphasizes knowing, loving, and obeying Jesus, with spiritual growth taking place through relationships committed to learning and applying Scripture. Its stated next steps move people from weekend attendance into community, service, prayer, giving, and everyday gospel mission in neighborhoods, workplaces, and schools. Children’s ministry aims to spark wonder and form mature disciples, while youth gatherings and churchwide events create additional age-specific connection. The three-service schedule is especially flexible for downtown visitors, yet each gathering shares the same format rather than a separate traditional or contemporary identity. Prospective guests can review sermons and practical newcomer information online, then choose whichever morning time best fits while expecting the same teaching, children’s care, and welcoming volunteer team.
