Trinity United Methodist Church

About this church

Trinity United Methodist Church is a historic downtown Maysville congregation combining traditional sanctuary worship with modern language, choir, organ, piano, online and radio access, children, teenagers, nursery care, Sunday School, small groups, and mission. Its Third Street Methodist roots reach to a church building dedicated in 1847, while current ministries serve households across generations.

Adult and children’s Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by sanctuary worship at 10:45. The service blends modern and traditional language and uses choir, organ, and piano; attire ranges from casual to business formal. Worship is also livestreamed and broadcast on 96.3 radio. Glow-n-Grow Nursery and Preschool provides staffed care and teaching for infants through age four during classes and the 10:45 service. Kindergarten through fifth grade may remain in worship or join SONBeam Kids children’s church; the homepage labels that program at 11:00, reflecting its start within the service. Lighthouse Student Ministries for middle and high school meets Sunday 5:30–7:30 p.m. during the school year and 6:00–8:00 in summer. Disciple Life Groups provide additional small-group Bible study. Public pages do not specify parking, accessibility, child check-in, secure pickup, volunteer screening, service duration, or Communion frequency. Visitors should use the sanctuary schedule rather than interpret every youth or VBS announcement as a weekly event.
