First Missionary Baptist Church

About this church

First Missionary Baptist Church of Monroe offers Sunday Bible study and an 11:00 a.m. worship service in person, on Zoom, and through Facebook Live. Children's Church also meets at 11:00. Wednesday includes noon prayer and a 7:00 p.m. Bible study known as The Connection. The official homepage contains older schedule blocks showing several different Sunday class and worship times, so visitors should confirm the Bible-study start directly; the current worship listing is consistently 11:00.

The congregation promises open hearts and summarizes its welcome with “we don't judge—we just love.” Ministries include brotherhood, marriage and family, Christian education, youth, prayer, media, and community outreach. Adult and children's classes provide formation across ages, while online access supports homebound participants and people previewing the church. The church teaches the Bible as God's sacred Word and emphasizes praise, development as a Christian, and supportive church-family relationships. Because the page's duplicated schedule templates are not fully synchronized, this profile preserves the discrepancy rather than inventing certainty: plan around 11:00 worship, but call before relying on a posted Sunday-school time.
