Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church

About this church

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boonsboro begins Sunday study for adults and children at 9:00 a.m. during the program year, followed by worship at 10:15. The ELCA congregation generally uses a traditional Lutheran service, with a contemporary format on the second Sunday of the month and Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays. Visitors should note that the 9:00 classes pause for summer while worship continues.

The congregation has served the Boonsboro area for more than 275 years, connecting a long local history with present-day ministry. Worship, Bible learning, fellowship, and service are intended to help people grow as disciples rather than simply attend an event. Youth activities include community-service projects and opportunities to participate in congregational life. The visitor page is especially practical for someone deciding what kind of service to expect, while the worship page explains the monthly variations. Because Communion Sundays and seasonal education schedules differ, checking the church calendar can make a first visit easier to plan.
