Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church

About this church

Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church worships on Saturdays, reflecting the denomination’s Sabbath practice. Sabbath School begins at 10:00 a.m., and the worship service starts at 11:15 in person, on YouTube, and on Facebook Live. The service includes music, prayer, stories, Scripture, and a sermon and normally runs to about 12:30 p.m. ASL-interpreted worship is scheduled on selected Sabbaths, with dated events posted on the church calendar. Visitors should check that calendar if interpretation is important for a particular week.

Located between Boonsboro and Hagerstown near Route 66, Willow Brook describes a community that values worship, food, and fellowship and welcomes people from many walks of life. Children and youth ministries include Earliteen and youth for grades eight through twelve, along with an Adventurer activity club for younger children when its season is active. Small groups and community-support ministries offer paths beyond Saturday worship. For someone unfamiliar with Adventist practice, the key planning point is simple: this congregation’s weekly sequence occurs Saturday rather than Sunday, beginning with age-based study and continuing into a livestreamed main service at 11:15.
