Grace United Methodist Church

About this church

Grace United Methodist Church meets at 11700 Old Fort Road in Fort Washington for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. Services can also be watched through the church's official online channel. The congregation follows United Methodist teaching, including baptism and an open Communion table for people who love Christ, turn from sin, and seek peace with one another. Current news lists Bible study and other weekday gatherings alongside worship.

Grace connects discipleship with several locally grounded ministries. Grace Grows Community Garden raises vegetables, herbs, and fruit for church families and the wider Chapel Hill and Fort Washington community. The Emanuel Mansfield Scholarship, established in 1978 in memory of a church member and internationally known concert tenor, supports active student members pursuing higher education, including at historically Black colleges and universities. Youth, young-adult, outreach, and Alzheimer's support ministries add further entry points. These details reflect a church concerned with education, food access, intergenerational care, and practical service. First-time visitors can attend at 10:00 or preview worship online, then use the current news page to confirm Bible-study and support-group dates.
