Northgate Community Church

About this church

Northgate Community Church in Montgomery Village begins Sunday prayer at 9:45 a.m. and what it calls a Celebration of Prophetic Worship at 10:00. Seasonal Pathway Bible classes are listed at 9:00. Nursery care opens at 10:30 for children through age three, and Kids Church for ages three through fifth grade begins around 11:00. Worship-team practice before the service and the children's transition explain the staggered Sunday schedule.

The congregation's mission is to share the good news of Christ and form growing disciples who yield to the Holy Spirit. Midweek Flock Groups meet in homes for Bible discussion, care, fellowship, and outreach, serving as the church's main small-group structure. Prayer is especially prominent: Watch Night Prayer is scheduled every other Friday from 10:00 p.m. to midnight. The campus is also connected with Living Grace Christian School. Since Pathway classes are seasonal and several ministry pages retain longstanding program information, first-time visitors should confirm education and children's details while treating 10:00 as the published worship start.
