About this church
McLean Bible Church's Montgomery County location welcomes Sunday worshipers at 9 and 11 a.m. at 12440 Parklawn Drive in Rockville. A gathering lasts about ninety minutes and uses contemporary, energetic music alongside prayer and Bible teaching. The campus describes the atmosphere as comfortable and casual, with visitors free to observe or participate. A Welcome Desk helps newcomers before and after worship, and the location page includes current parking guidance. Kid's Quest provides secure, age-appropriate Bible learning during the Sunday gatherings, with parents treated as the primary spiritual influence in a child's life.
Students in grades six through twelve connect through The Rock, which uses small and large groups to address faith, questions, relationships, and service. Church Groups are the main setting for ongoing care and discipleship across ages and life stages. McLean Bible Church began in 1961 as a nondenominational Bible church and has grown into several Washington-area locations, so visitors should keep the Montgomery County schedule and ministries separate from other campuses. Its global-outreach work focuses on making disciples, strengthening churches, and serving vulnerable communities among many nations. A first-time guest can attend either Sunday service and should arrive early enough for parking and children's check-in. After worship, the Welcome Desk is the most direct route into a group, student ministry, or serving opportunity.
