About this church
Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church offers in-person and online worship at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, with a noon rebroadcast for people who cannot join live. On first Sundays, children begin in the sanctuary for a dedicated message and then move to Sunday School. Their gathering follows recognizable parts of the main service—including prayer, praise, Scripture, offering, and an age-directed lesson—so children learn worship by participating in it rather than being separated from the church's shared rhythm.
Worship and arts are a visible part of Asbury's identity. Children and teenagers can take part in dance, sign-language interpretation, drama, photography, videography, and the Asbury Ensemble youth choir, while older youth have monthly gatherings and retreat opportunities. The congregation's community work includes the Asbury Church Assistance Network food pantry, which publishes Monday and Tuesday morning hours for neighbors needing help. That makes the Severna Park church more than a Sunday destination: families can connect through creative ministry, younger members can practice leadership, and local residents can access practical food support. Current sermons, bulletins, prayer requests, and online giving are also available through the official site.
