South Shore Baptist Church

About this church

South Shore Baptist Church in Hingham worships at 10:00 a.m. Sundays, with a YouTube livestream and replay. Services last about seventy minutes and are Christ-focused and Word-shaped through Scripture reading, song, preaching, prayer, testimony, and giving. During the school year, Sunday School is at 9:00 and fellowship at 11:10. The church exists to worship God and make disciples across the South Shore and beyond.

Childcare serves infants through prekindergarten, and Children's Church serves kindergarten through fifth grade during worship; families check in downstairs in the Children's Wing. Youth Sunday School meets from 9:00 to 9:45, and school-year youth group runs Sundays from 6:30 to 8:00, with a dinner-focused Fellowship Night on first Sundays. Clothing ranges from casual to formal. Parking is plentiful, but visitors should use the north or south entrances rather than the Main Street door. First-time families can combine classes with worship and should complete the visitor form or arrive early for children's registration.
