Wesley United Methodist Church

About this church

Wesley United Methodist Church gathers Sunday at 10 a.m. in its downtown Worcester sanctuary, with online participation available through YouTube and Zoom. Musical preludes normally begin around 9:55, and fellowship follows worship. No advance registration is required. The congregation describes itself as multicultural, with members from many places, and encourages visitors to come as they are; because its visitor page retains some older health guidance, guests should rely on current homepage announcements for any active building requirements.

Christian formation at Wesley is presented as a lifelong process beginning at birth. Children's Sunday School meets during the 10 a.m. service, while youth group is scheduled after worship on the first and third Sundays. Nursery plans and availability are published separately, so parents with infants or preschoolers should confirm the current term before arrival. Youth ministry focuses on personal development, Christian faith, and spiritual practices that can support students through college and adulthood. The congregation also serves beyond Sunday through missions and the Carty Cupboard Food Pantry; past international work has included a clinic, school and church building, and well in Tanzania. A useful first visit is the 10 a.m. service followed by fellowship, with families checking the current education calendar in advance.
