Gaylord Methodist Church

About this church

Gaylord Methodist Church is a Global Methodist congregation in the Wesleyan tradition, emphasizing biblical authority, Spirit-filled living, worship, service, small-group discipleship, accountability, and sanctification. Traditional and contemporary Sunday services, livestreaming, children, teenagers, adults, prayer, music, and outreach give people a choice of worship style within one church community.

The 9:00 a.m. Sunday service is traditional, with prayer, liturgy, hymns, and Scripture reading. The 10:45 service is contemporary, centered on current worship music and a biblical message. Both stream live on Facebook and YouTube. Children ages four through third grade begin in worship at either hour and dismiss after the music for Jr. Church. The nursery is available for infants through age four, but it is not staffed; a parent or caregiver must remain with the child. Covenant Keepers for ages four through sixth grade meets Wednesday 5:30–6:30 p.m. from September through June. Covenant Seekers youth meets Thursday 6:00–8:00. Public pages do not specify parking, accessibility, dress, service duration, child check-in, secure pickup, volunteer screening, or Communion frequency. The directory’s United Methodist label is outdated: the current official site identifies the congregation with the Global Methodist Church and brands it as Gaylord Methodist Church.
