Greenville Church of the Nazarene

About this church

Greenville Church of the Nazarene begins Sunday discipleship for all ages at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:45. A typical service includes a pastoral message, congregational songs, an offering, and time for prayer. Dress is casual, and the church says visitors do not need to have life or faith completely figured out before attending. Children may remain with their families during worship or use the in-sanctuary kids' corner, while a fifth-grade Kids Club meets Sundays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The congregation's mission is summarized as building up Christ's body and blessing the community. Its Crossroad Compassionate Ministry food pantry puts that second phrase into practice on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:30. Anyone in need may use the pantry up to twice per month after completing a short first-visit form; no identification or proof of income is required. Children, youth, men's, and women's ministries create further paths into church life. For a newcomer, the casual expectations and published service sequence reduce uncertainty, while the open-access food pantry reveals a specific way the congregation serves Greenville beyond Sunday morning.
