Rhiza Church

About this church

Rhiza Church gathers Sundays at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. at 2201 South Grove Street in Ypsilanti. The congregation’s name and welcome center on becoming rooted in God’s love—finding room to belong, grow, and breathe regardless of personal history. Guests can submit a visit form in advance so the welcome team can simplify their first arrival, while the church is renovating its building to better serve the community.

Rhiza Kids provides intentional environments from infancy through fifth grade. Babies and toddlers receive sensory play, stories, and gentle care; preschool and elementary children engage music, creative lessons, games, and faith-centered relationships. Rhiza Students serves grades six through twelve through worship, Bible teaching, honest conversation, friendship, and purpose. Two official student pages currently display different recurring times—Sunday afternoon on one and Wednesday evening on another—so families should confirm the current meeting before traveling. The dependable Sunday choices remain 9:30 and 11:00, with children’s spaces at both. The official visit page also resolves an address discrepancy in older listings by publishing 2201 South Grove Street as the gathering location.
