Bemidji Baptist Church

About this church

Bemidji Baptist Church is an independent, Bible-believing congregation that places Jesus Christ, biblical authority, evangelism, and fellowship at the center of its identity. Its Bemidji ministry has grown from modest rented meeting places into a permanent Paul Bunyan Drive campus. Alongside worship and classes, the church supports practical and recovery-focused programs including dyslexia tutoring, addiction recovery, one-to-one TalkTime discipleship, Wounded Spirits PTSD ministry, piano lessons, adult Bible studies, jail Bible study, and seasonal activities for families.

Coffee, doughnuts, and fellowship begin Sunday at 9:45 a.m., followed by Sunday School for all ages and an advanced recovery class at 10:00. Morning worship starts at 11:00 and evening worship at 5:00 p.m. From October through April, Awana for kindergarten through sixth grade and Journey Youth for grades seven through twelve meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.; prayer meeting, Bible study, and TalkTime begin at 7:00. Wounded Spirits meets Thursday at 7:00, and the addictions recovery program meets Friday at 7:00. The church provides live and archived sermons online. Because the Wednesday children and student programs are explicitly seasonal, summer visitors should not assume they are meeting and should consult the current calendar instead.
