United Church of Christ in New Brighton

About this church

The United Church of Christ in New Brighton is a Minnesota congregation with an inclusive worship style that makes room for varied music, bells, dance, children’s participation, shared prayer, Communion, education, and community service. Youth take visible roles in worship and mission rather than being treated only as future members. Recorded services and Zoom studies extend participation beyond the building.

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and includes music, Scripture, prayer, a children’s moment, and Communion on the first Sunday of each month. An education hour follows at 10:30 with adult topics, children’s activities, and occasional intergenerational programs. The children’s page separately lists school-year Bible Time at 10:45 for preschool through seventh grade, so families should ask whether their child begins at 10:30 or joins that later session. Childcare is available for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Youth in grades seven through twelve gather Wednesday nights, but the page does not state a fixed clock time; Karpenter’s Kids for grades four through seven meets monthly. A Thursday Bible study begins at 9:30 a.m. on Zoom. Visitors should use the calendar for youth and monthly programs while relying on 9:30 for the principal Sunday service.
