Trinity Lutheran Church

About this church

Trinity Lutheran Church in Northfield offers an abbreviated Thursday worship service with Holy Communion at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday worship with Holy Communion at 9:00 a.m. The Sunday service is livestreamed on YouTube, where previous sermons remain available. This Thursday-to-Sunday pattern is useful for households managing work or travel, while weekly Communion keeps both services centered on the same sacramental rhythm. The church’s worship pages explain the schedule directly rather than requiring visitors to infer it from an events calendar.

Children’s ministry covers fourth grade and younger through Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and other activities. Youth ministry begins around fourth grade or age nine and includes Bible study, retreats, confession opportunities, and age-specific formation. Trinity’s online page links the congregation to wider Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod worship resources, reinforcing its confessional setting. For someone comparing Lutheran churches in Northfield, Trinity offers the unusual flexibility of a shorter weekday preview of Sunday worship, a livestreamed main service, Holy Communion at both, and formation divided around the transition from younger children to youth. Current ministry listings should be checked for seasonal education times.
