Lake Sarah Baptist Church

About this church

Lake Sarah Baptist Church is a rural congregation near Slayton with roots in a Swedish Baptist church organized on June 2, 1889. The congregation moved into its present facility in 2008 and is affiliated with Converge Worldwide and Converge North Central. Its mission language emphasizes glorifying God, growing as disciples, going into the community and world, and loving people across backgrounds and generations.

The official site identifies Sunday worship as the congregation’s primary weekly gathering, but the selected first-party pages do not expose a readable start time. Rather than borrow an hour from a secondary directory or infer one from an empty page, this profile leaves the time unclaimed and directs visitors to confirm it with the church. The same caution applies to current children’s and youth schedules: those ministry links exist, yet their accessible page text does not provide dependable hours. Visitors can still use the official site to understand the congregation’s Baptist identity, long local history, mission priorities, and current address before contacting the church for the latest Sunday plan. This is a case where an honest schedule gap is more useful than a polished but potentially wrong time, especially for people traveling through a rural area.
