North Oxford Baptist Church

About this church

North Oxford Baptist Church is an Oxford congregation with Sunday School, morning worship, children and students, college ministry, music, missions, and a midweek family schedule. Founded in 1949, the church now serves a multigenerational community in a university town. Its newcomer material gives practical weekly timing, while ministry pages explain how children and teenagers participate rather than leaving families to infer everything from a single service listing.

Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30. During worship, children in kindergarten through third grade are dismissed after the offering for an age-specific setting. On Wednesday, supper starts at 5:00 p.m. with advance registration due the prior Wednesday; age-group ministries begin at 5:45, and college students meet at 7:00. Student ministry also lists seasonal Sunday gatherings at 6:00 p.m., so families should confirm the active school-year calendar. Adults and older children can expect a church-wide worship service rather than fully separate programming throughout the morning. First-time visitors planning to attend supper should register rather than assume walk-in meals will be available.
