Ebenezer Baptist Church

About this church

Ebenezer Baptist Church near Fulton begins Sunday School for all ages and interests at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30. Midweek Bible study meets at 6:00 p.m. A greeter provides the bulletin and directions, while coffee and doughnuts are available in the fellowship hall after 9:00 Sunday morning. Clothing ranges from suits to T-shirts, jeans, shorts, and other comfortable choices. Parking includes a north lot beside the cemetery, gravel spaces under trees to the south, and accessible spaces at the step-free south entrance; the north worship-center entrance has several steps.

The congregation’s memorable description of itself is “grandma’s church on steroids”: rooted in Callaway County history while trying to meet contemporary family needs with biblical teaching. Ministries include bread distribution, seniors, men, women, nursing-home outreach, disaster relief, and Vacation Bible School. That combination makes the listing especially practical for a first visit: people can choose accessible arrival, find refreshments before class, ask a designated greeter for help, and attend both education and worship in one morning. Ebenezer may suit households seeking a rural Baptist congregation with an intergenerational identity, relaxed clothing expectations, clear physical-access information, and several forms of community care.
